US Letter, portraitHow to make your sign-in sheet
- Fill in the open house. Type the property address and pick the date and the start and end times. The date prints as month/day/year with the day of the week.
- Add who is hosting. Your name, your brokerage and, if you like, your license number. The brokerage name is required because it prints on the sheet. Your brokerage's name belongs on anything the public sees.
- Choose the columns. Name, email, phone, working with an agent and how they heard about the open house. Keep it short. Every extra column is one more reason for a visitor to skip the sheet. Then pick how many rows fit your traffic.
- Check the preview and print. The preview is what prints on US Letter paper. Press Print sheet or use your browser's print menu. Choose portrait, and turn off the browser's headers and footers for the cleanest page.
About the consent line
When phone or email is on the sheet, a short line prints right under the table: by writing a phone or email, visitors agree you may contact them about this home and similar homes, calls and texts only with their OK, and they can reply STOP any time. It sets clear expectations before anyone writes a number down. It is not legal advice. Ask your broker how it fits your state's rules and your brokerage's policy, and only text people who said yes.
About the fair housing line
Every sheet carries the Equal Housing Opportunity logo and a short statement. Ask every visitor the same questions, treat everyone the same way, and if someone says they already have an agent, respect that relationship. Want help with listing wording too? Try the fair housing listing checker.
After the open house
Paper sheets hold personal information, so keep them somewhere safe and get the names into your system the same day. Follow up only the way each visitor agreed to. If you want visitors to sign in on a tablet or with a QR code instead, see how open house sign-in works in RealtyMind.
Questions
Is anything I type sent or stored online?
No. The sheet is built in your browser. Your last entries are saved only in this browser on this device, so the next sheet is quicker to make.
Why is there a consent line under the phone and email columns?
So visitors know what writing their phone or email means: you may contact them about this home and similar homes, calls and texts only with their OK, and they can reply STOP any time. Ask your broker how it fits your state's rules and your brokerage's policy.
Can I print it on regular paper?
Yes. The sheet is sized for US Letter, portrait. In the print dialog, turn off the browser's headers and footers for the cleanest page.
Sign-ins that follow up on their own.
In RealtyMind, visitors sign in with a QR code or on your tablet, choose whether they want texts, and Ivy drafts the follow-up that night for your OK. RealtyMind is in private pilot.
