  1. Why it is needed

Phone carriers block business texts from numbers that are not registered. Registering tells them who is texting and why, so your texts get delivered.

  2. Have your details ready

Your brokerage's legal name, its tax ID (EIN), address, website and a contact person. The tax ID goes straight to the carrier. We do not keep it.

  3. We file it with you

During setup we file your brokerage and how you text people (with your opt-in and STOP wording) with the carriers, together with you.

  4. Your numbers are added

Each local number goes on the registration. Toll-free numbers get their own check.

  5. Texts start after approval

Calls work right away. Once the carriers approve, texts go out from your business number. RealtyMind checks the status for you.

Good to know
  • How long the carriers take is up to them. We file it with you during setup and tell you where it stands.
  • Sofia only texts people who opted in, and STOP always ends texts at once.
  • Texts not arriving? See Troubleshooting.

Questions

Do I have to do this myself?

No. We file it with you during setup. You give us the details and approve the wording.

Is this the same as opt-in?

No. Registration is your brokerage telling the carriers who you are. Opt-in is each person agreeing to get texts. You need both.
