Lofty alternatives in 2026: what to look for

Lofty is a capable all-in-one platform. If you are shopping around anyway, here is a fair checklist for comparing it with the alternatives, and the questions to ask every vendor.

What to look for

The best platform is the one that saves you hours every week and does not lock you in. Judge every option, including ours, against the same list.

Lofty bundles a CRM, IDX websites, lead generation and AI tools, and in 2026 it launched what it calls an agentic AI operating system. Plenty of teams are happy on it. Others are comparing options because of cost, contract terms or how much the AI actually does. This guide gives you a fair way to compare.

Six things to check

AI that actually talks on calls

"AI" means different things on different platforms. Ask: does it answer inbound calls and hold a real two-way conversation? Does it place outbound calls, and to whom? Per Lofty's help center, its AI voice places outbound calls in two specific cases on top packages, and its unknown inbound call handler "cannot hold a conversation." Many platforms, Lofty included, offer AI texting. Decide whether you need texting, voice or both.

Published pricing

Can you see the price before a sales call? Lofty does not publish full pricing. Reviewers at The Close report roughly $449 to $1,500 a month plus a $500 to $2,000 setup fee, with no free trial. Prices change, so get a written quote that lists every seat, add-on and fee.

Contract terms

Ask about the minimum term, auto-renewal, the cancellation notice period and what happens to your data when you leave. A month-to-month option and a clean export are worth real money.

A mobile app as strong as desktop

Agents live on their phones. Test the app on a real showing day: can you see the lead, call, text, update a deal and send listings without opening a laptop?

Compliance built in

Look for fair housing checks on AI-written listings and ads, consent tracking before AI calls or texts, quiet hours, instant opt-outs, recording notices and brokerage name on every message. Our guides to fair housing wording and AI phone answering cover what to test.

The move-in

Switching hurts when you rebuild everything by hand. Ask who moves your contacts, notes, deals, tags and drip campaigns, and whether there is a fee.

The kinds of alternatives

"Alternative" can mean replacing everything or just the part that frustrates you. Here are the main categories.

On BoldTrail, for example, the Concierge AI texts leads but does not answer or place calls, and it pauses when a monthly lead cap is reached, per its help center. See our side-by-side pages for RealtyMind vs Lofty and RealtyMind vs BoldTrail.

Where RealtyMind fits

RealtyMind is one option, built AI-first. It is in private pilot in South Florida today.

  • Sofia, the AI front desk, answers every call and text with a real two-way conversation, qualifies, books on your calendar and hands hot leads to you live.
  • Ivy, the AI marketer, writes listings and posts in your brokerage's voice, and every word passes a fair housing check before it posts.
  • Compliance is built in: consent before AI calls, Florida calling hours, recording notices, and no showing booked without a signed buyer agreement.
  • Phone apps for iPhone and Android (in pilot), built to be as strong as desktop.
Planned at launch

Free trial, no setup fee, month to month, and a free move-in of your data. Pricing is announced at launch.

Questions to ask every vendor

  1. Can I hear your AI answer a call right now?
  2. What exactly does it say about recording and being an AI?
  3. What is the total monthly cost for my team, with every add-on and fee?
  4. What is the minimum term, and how do I cancel?
  5. How do I export all my data, and in what format?
  6. Who moves my data in, and what does it cost?
