Real Geeks alternatives in 2026: a fair checklist

Real Geeks puts an IDX website, a lead CRM and a dialer on one platform. If you are weighing alternatives, here is a fair checklist and the questions to ask every vendor.

Lead feed What to check

A good website gets the lead. The software behind it decides whether that lead gets a fast, real answer.

Real Geeks describes its own platform on its comparison page (checked 11/01/2026): IDX websites, a CRM, a CRM app for agents, a branded MoveTo home search app for clients, a partner marketplace, and a dialer it describes as "Built into the CRM, included with unlimited usage." Its billing help article (checked 11/01/2026) publishes the price: the base platform is $399 a month on a 12-month commitment, or $3,990 a year, plus a one-time $500 setup fee, with two CRM users included and more users priced per seat in tiers. Clear, published pricing is a real plus. Teams still shop around when they want AI that talks on the phone today, want paperwork and splits in the same system, or want a shorter commitment. This guide gives you a fair way to compare.

RealtyMind is not affiliated with Real Geeks. Details about it come from its own website and help center, checked 11/01/2026, and can change. Confirm anything important with the vendor.

Seven things to check

What the AI does today, and what is coming

Real Geeks' AI texting assistant, Robin, follows up with leads, uses website activity and CRM notes to personalize messages, and alerts you when a lead is ready for an agent, per its Geek AI Text help article (checked 11/01/2026). Its Geek AI 3.0 post (07/01/2026, checked 11/01/2026) says email conversations are coming soon and that Geek AI Voice, for phone conversations with leads, is coming late 2026. Its Lead Feed post (checked 11/01/2026) describes a dashboard that sorts leads into New, Awaiting Response, High Priority and Slipping Away, with AI suggestions for what to say listed as coming soon. A public roadmap is helpful. For any vendor, ask which AI features are live in your account today, and ask to hear the voice AI on a real call.

What the base includes, and what is extra

The billing article lists the website, the CRM with unlimited calling, texting, email and video, lead capture tools and support in the base platform. Geek AI Text is an add-on priced by how many new AI conversations it starts each month, and it is included with any of the optional marketing packages. The help article says that when you reach the monthly limit, Robin keeps existing conversations going but does not start new ones until it resets. For every vendor, write down the base, AI, lead generation, extra users and setup, and compare the full monthly total.

Contract length, setup and the way out

A 12-month commitment and a setup fee are common in this market. Whatever you choose, ask every vendor the same three things: the minimum term, any setup fee, and exactly how you export your contacts, notes, deals and conversation history if you leave, and in what format.

The hand-off from AI to you

Robin tells you by email, text or the app when a lead is ready, and you can read every conversation or step in at any time. The help article adds: "Once Geek AI Text is stopped for a lead, it cannot be reactivated." Knowing that in advance matters. Ask every vendor how the hand-off works, whether the AI can pick back up later, and whether a hot lead can be warm-transferred to your phone while they are still on the line.

Quiet hours and consent

Real Geeks says Robin only texts during office hours, to help with TCPA quiet hour guidelines, with defaults of Monday to Saturday 9 AM to 9 PM and Sunday noon to 9 PM. Ask every vendor the full compliance list: consent before AI texts or calls, opt-outs that work right away, recording notices on calls, fair housing checks on AI-written listings and ads, and the brokerage name on every message. Our guides to consent rules for AI calls and fair housing wording cover what to test.

Your website and listing data

The billing article lists an IDX site with MLS listings, unlimited landing pages, SEO and the MoveTo app in the base platform. If your website is your main lead engine, weigh that part carefully. Ask every vendor how listing data reaches the site, which MLS licenses they hold in your market, and who keeps the domain if you leave. Our guide to IDX and MLS data basics explains the terms.

Deals, paperwork and splits in one place

Real Geeks' comparison page focuses on websites, leads, the CRM and the dialer; it does not describe transaction management. Ask how contracts, documents, broker review and commission splits connect to the lead record, or whether they live in a separate tool.

Where RealtyMind fits

RealtyMind is one option, built AI-first, with the lead inbox, phone, listings, transactions and splits in one system. It is in private pilot today. Here is what is in it, from our features page:

  • Sofia, the AI front desk, answers calls and texts on the brokerage and agent lines 24/7 with real two-way voice conversations, in English and Spanish. She qualifies buyers and sellers, books showings once a signed buyer agreement is on file, and warm-transfers hot leads to your phone.
  • One lead inbox. Zillow, Realtor.com, Homes.com, Facebook, your site and open houses land in one place and route by area, price, language and agent load. Follow-up stops the moment a lead replies.
  • Leo, your AI assistant, takes a call or text from the car: "What's my day?" or "Send the Kaplans the three condos."
  • Ivy, the AI marketer, writes listings and posts in your brokerage's voice, and a fair housing check runs before anything posts.
  • Tess, the AI transaction coordinator, builds the timeline from the contract, chases signatures and files the folder for broker review. State forms come from a licensed forms provider, with e-sign, and commission splits and statements live in the same system.
  • Compliance stays on. AI calls and texts go only to people who opted in, STOP works right away, calling hours default to 9 AM to 7 PM, Sofia says the call is recorded, and every ad shows the brokerage name.
Planned at launch

Free trial, free move-in of your data, no setup fee, month to month. Pricing is announced at launch.

One honest note: RealtyMind includes home search for brokerage and agent sites, with plain-English search, saved searches and alerts, but it is not connected to a live MLS feed yet. If your IDX site drives most of your leads, keep it running while you test. Coming from Real Geeks? See our switching page; your old system keeps running until you are sure.

Questions to ask every vendor

  1. Can I hear your AI answer a call right now?
  2. Does your AI send messages on its own, or draft them for me to send?
  3. Which AI features are live in my account today, and which are coming later?
  4. What does one seat include, and what is an add-on?
  5. What is the total monthly cost for my team, with every fee?
  6. What is the minimum term, and how do I cancel?
  7. How do I export all my data, and in what format?
  8. Who moves my data in, and do opt-outs carry over?

Common questions

Is Real Geeks a bad choice?

No. It pairs IDX websites with a CRM, an included dialer, apps for agents and clients, and published pricing. Shopping around makes sense when you want AI on phone calls today, or want paperwork and splits in the same place. Use the same checklist on every option.

Can I move my Real Geeks data to RealtyMind?

If you can export it, we can move it. Free move-in of contacts, deals, listings, notes and documents is planned at launch, and people who opted out stay opted out. See how switching works.

Does RealtyMind include a website with live listings?

Not yet. RealtyMind includes home search for brokerage and agent sites, but it is not connected to a live MLS feed yet. Keep your current site running while you test.

How much does RealtyMind cost?
