Pick the platform your agents will open every day, and one your office can leave cleanly. Hold every option, ours included, to the same list.
Rechat sells to brokerages that want CRM, marketing and deals under one login. Its help center describes Lucy, its AI assistant, as a copilot for marketing content, property research and CMAs, listing websites, CRM tasks, deals and calendar checks, per its Lucy guide (checked 11/01/2026). Plenty of offices run on it. Others start shopping because they want an AI that answers the phone, want commission splits on the same record as the deal, or are simply reviewing every contract at renewal. This guide gives you a fair way to compare.
RealtyMind is not affiliated with Rechat. Details about it come from its own help center, checked 11/01/2026, and can change. Confirm anything important with the vendor.
Seven things to check
What the AI actually does
"AI" means very different things from one product to the next. Some assistants help an agent write, research and find things. Some summarize conversations after they happen. A few hold the conversation themselves, live, on the phone. Rechat's guide says Lucy is "built directly into Rechat," and it describes AI Memo, which turns recorded or dictated conversations into summaries and follow-up notes. We did not see live phone answering described on that page. Both kinds of AI are useful. Decide which one your agents need most, then ask every vendor to show it working on a real call or a real listing, not a slide.
Deal checklists and broker review
For a brokerage, the transaction side is where compliance lives. Rechat's help center says "Checklists are the foundation of Deals in Rechat," per its checklist setup article (checked 11/01/2026). It explains that forms can be marked required or optional and sent to inboxes for admin review. Whatever you pick, ask: who builds the checklist for each state and deal type, how review and approval work, where state forms come from, and whether e-sign is included or extra. Our transaction coordinator checklist is a good list to test against.
Marketing and brand control
Many brokerages buy these platforms for brand control: every flyer, email and post looks like the company. Check who controls templates, whether a broker can lock the brand voice, and whether offices and agents can add local touches without breaking it. Then check the rules: is there a fair housing check on AI-written copy before it posts, and does the brokerage name appear on every ad? Our guide to fair housing wording shows what a good check should catch.
Single sign-on, and which direction it runs
Single sign-on means agents log in once with a company account. It runs in one of two directions. The platform can be the place agents log in (the identity provider), or it can accept the login your company already uses, such as Microsoft or Google (the service provider). Rechat's release notes say brokerage admins can set up SAML single sign-on with Rechat as the identity provider, and that support for Rechat as the service provider is planned, per its admin and SSO update (checked 11/01/2026). Ask every vendor which direction it supports today, in writing. Our security checklist for franchises covers the rest of that conversation.
Commission splits and statements
Ask where splits, caps, team shares and referral fees live. If they sit in a separate back office tool or a spreadsheet, someone copies numbers after every closing. That is fine if you already have a back office system you love. If not, ask whether the statement builds from the deal record at closing.
Phone, texting and consent
Calls and texts are where agents spend their day, and where the legal risk sits. Ask whether calling and texting are built in, who handles carrier registration for business texting, and whether consent, quiet hours and STOP are rules inside the product or habits agents must remember. Our guide to AI calls, texts and the TCPA lists what to test.
The move-in and the move-out
Ask who moves your contacts, notes, deals and documents, whether opt-outs carry over, and what it costs. Then ask the opposite question: how do you export everything if you leave, and in what format? A vendor that answers both clearly is easier to trust.
Score your current setup
The kinds of alternatives
"Alternative" can mean replacing the whole platform or fixing the one part that slows your office down. These categories are general, so check each product for its current features.
| Category | Examples | Good for | Ask about |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brokerage platforms | Rechat, BoldTrail, Lofty, RealtyMind | CRM, marketing and deals in one login | What the AI does on calls; single sign-on |
| Lead CRMs | Follow Up Boss, Sierra Interactive | Lead follow-up and integrations | Which add-ons you still need |
| Transaction tools | SkySlope, Dotloop, Lone Wolf | Forms, e-sign, broker review | How it connects to your CRM |
| AI texting add-ons | Ylopo AI, Structurely | Following up on leads by text | Voice calls, hand-off, consent |
If paperwork is the main reason you are looking, read SkySlope and Dotloop alternatives. If it is the CRM and AI, try the 10 questions to ask any AI CRM.
Where RealtyMind fits
RealtyMind is one option, built AI-first, with the lead inbox, phone, listings, transactions and splits in one system. It is in private pilot today. Here is what is in it, from our features page:
- Sofia, the AI front desk, answers calls and texts on the brokerage and agent lines 24/7 with real two-way voice conversations, qualifies buyers and sellers, books showings and warm-transfers hot leads.
- Hugo, the AI assistant, takes a call or text from the car: "What's my day?" or "Send the Kaplans the three condos."
- Ivy, the AI marketer, writes listings and posts in your brokerage's voice, and a fair housing check runs before anything posts. Big sends wait for your OK.
- Tess, the AI transaction coordinator, builds the timeline from the contract, chases signatures and sends complete files to the broker's review queue. The broker sets the checklist per state and deal type.
- Splits and the command center. Splits and caps are set once and the statement builds at closing. Brokers see leads, response times, deals and AI activity by agent, and franchises get office, region and national views with single sign-on, per our franchise page.
- Compliance stays on. AI calls and texts go only to people who opted in, STOP works right away, Sofia says the call is recorded, and no showing is booked before a signed buyer agreement.
Free trial, free move-in of your data, no setup fee, month to month. Pricing is announced at launch.

Questions to ask every vendor
- Can I hear your AI answer a real call right now?
- Does your AI send anything on its own, or draft it for an agent to approve?
- Who builds our state checklists, and how does broker review work?
- Which direction does your single sign-on run today?
- Where do splits and statements live?
- What does one seat include, what is extra, and what is the minimum term?
- How do we export everything, and do opt-outs carry over?
Common questions
Is Rechat a bad choice?
No. It is a brokerage platform that brings CRM, marketing and deals together, with an AI assistant built in. Shopping around makes sense when you want different things from the AI, or want splits and phones in the same system. Use the same checklist on every option.
Can I move from Rechat to RealtyMind?
If you can export it, we can move it. Free move-in of contacts, deals, listings, notes and documents is planned at launch, and people who opted out stay opted out. See how switching works.
Does RealtyMind's AI answer phone calls?
Yes. Sofia answers calls and texts 24/7 in English and Spanish, says the call is recorded, qualifies the caller and books showings once a signed buyer agreement is on file.
How much does RealtyMind cost?
Pricing is announced at launch. Planned at launch: a free trial, no setup fee and month to month.
